Montreal Recalls Matt D'Agostini From Hamilton

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that the club has recalled forward Matt D'Agostini from the Bulldogs.

D'Agostini, 23, has played in 35 games with the Canadiens this year recording four points (two goals, two assists) and serving 26 penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 198-pound right wing played in three games with the 'Dogs this season recording one assist and two penalty minutes. In 89 career NHL games, the native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario has posted 25 points (14 goals, 11 assists) and 44 penalty minutes. D'Agostini was selected in the 6th round, 190th overall by Montreal in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
