Monterey Bay FC News Release
SEASIDE, Calif. (Monday, December 12, 2022) - Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) has announced its preseason match schedule ahead of the club's sophomore campaign in USL Championship. The schedule includes the Union's first-ever preseason match in Seaside, as Cardinale Stadium remained under construction throughout the club's inaugural preseason.
The Crisp and Kelp will kick off the 2023 preseason as hosts to Major League Soccer (MLS) side San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, February 4 at Cardinale Stadium. On February 18, Sacramento Republic FC will make the trip to Seaside for an afternoon match. A week later, Oakland Roots SC will visit Cardinale Stadium for an early evening contest on February 25. Then to wrap up the preseason, Monterey Bay F.C. will hit the road to face Republic FC once again, this time at Heart Health Park in Sacramento at a date yet to be announced.
Tickets to these matches are available now exclusively to 2023 Monterey Bay F.C. season ticket holders at a discounted rate and will be made available to the general public on Thursday, December 15. Season ticket holders can claim their seats to the Earthquakes match here and will receive those same seats for the Sacramento and Oakland matches for free if they do so by Wednesday, December 14.
Season ticket holders may still receive the Buy San Jose, Get Sacramento and Oakland Free offer beyond the general public date of December 15, but their exact season ticket location will no longer be guaranteed.
