Monday's Series Finale Postponed by Rain

Savannah, Ga.- Monday's contest between the Savannah Sand Gnats and the Lexington Legends has been officially postponed due to heavy rains and subsequent field conditions.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader later this week in Lexington when the Gnats head to Whitaker Bank Ballpark, with a game date yet to be determined.

Tickets purchased for tonight's game are now rain checks and can be exchanged for any 2014 regular season game depending on availability.

After an off day Tuesday, the Gnats will head to Augusta to start a three game set on Wednesday against the GreenJackets. Next, the team will head to Lexington for five games in four days starting Saturday.

The Sand Gnats will return home Thursday, July 31, for JCB Military Appreciation Night. All military personnel with ID will get a free general admission ticket. Coaches and players will wear special military-themed jerseys which will then be auctioned off for charity. It will also be Thirsty Thursday brought to you by Budweiser, Coors Light, Miller Lite, Connect Savannah, E93, and I-95. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. and first pitch against the Hickory Crawdads is set for 7:05 p.m.
