Monarchs Switch Web Site To Summer Mode

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the top affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, on Tuesday unveiled a new look for www.monarchshockey.com, the team's official Web site. The fresh, new look, developed and hosted by Pro Sports Media, features an easy-to-navigate home page.

The home page includes modules for news, the Monarchs Pro Shop, upcoming events and a Web Poll, and it serves as a direct link for two of the Monarchs signature summer events: The Fourth Annual Ace Bailey Golf Classic (June 20) and the Fourth Annual Monarchs Hockey School (August 15-19). Additionally, the page includes a link to the team's on-line auction site and an area where fans can sign-up for Monarchs e-news.

Monarchs Season Ticket Holders are encouraged to check out the new My Monarchs Account feature at www.monarchshockey.com. Located at the top of the navigational bar on the home page, My Monarchs Account enables Season Ticket Holders to pay for their season tickets on-line, change their contact information and forward season tickets to friends, family and clients during the regular season. Game-Worn Jerseys Up For Bid; Proceeds To Benefit Monarchs Care Foundation – Monarchs fans have until Saturday, May 21 to bid on game jerseys worn by center Michael Cammalleri, left wing Chris Schmidt, right wing Brad Smyth and defenseman Doug Nolan during the 2004-05 season.

Proceeds from the game-worn jersey auction will benefit the Monarchs Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Manchester Monarchs. The Monarchs are taking deposits for season tickets for the 2005-06 season. A $50 non-refundable deposit is all you need to get your name on the priority list.
