
Molson Coors Announced as Major Corporate Sponsor for 2018 Mastercard Memorial Cup

Regina, Saskatchewan - The 2018 Mastercard Memorial Cup Host Committee, together with the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), is pleased to announce the addition of Molson Coors Canada Inc. as a major local corporate sponsor for the upcoming 100th anniversary edition of the iconic junior hockey championship.
"We're very pleased to see Molson Coors step forward and commit to this event," says Shaun Semple, Chair of Regina's Host Committee. "They have long demonstrated a strong engagement with our local community and have now committed their resources to ensuring a highly successful event here in Regina; Canada's hockey capital!"
Molson Coors will have beer-exclusivity and activation rights for the ten-day event, which includes all MMC games, the Celebration Zone, opening ceremonies and concerts, etc.
"It's no secret that hockey, at all levels of the game, is a big deal to us," explains Hari Sihvo, Director of Sponsorship and Strategy at Molson Coors. "But beyond the sport alone, the Memorial Cup is part of Canada's DNA - saluting history with a world-class display of athleticism. We're honoured to be part of this special tribute."
The Host Committee is anticipating further sponsorship announcements in the coming weeks, as there has been considerable interest from both local and national organizations.
