Chilliwack Bruins News Release

Chilliwack BC - The Chilliwack Bruins are pleased to announce that forward Oscar Moller, 19, has signed an entry level contract with the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL. Moller was the Kings second-round selection (52nd overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.

'The entire Bruins organization is very proud of Oscar. He came to North America and the Chilliwack Bruins to pursue a career in the National Hockey League. Today he has moved one step closer to his goal,' comments Bruins GM Darrell May. 'I'm sure Oscar will do his best to become a member of the Kings as soon as possible. Should they feel he needs more time to develop, of course we would love to have him back in Chilliwack'.

At 19, Moller is eligible to return to the Bruins for his final year of junior eligibility. Oscar will attend the Kings Training Camp in the fall. If he doesn't remain with the Kings, Moller is not eligible to go to the AHL and will return to the Bruins.

Moller recently finished his second season with the Bruins, recording 82 points (39 goals and 43 assists) and 42 penalty minutes in 63 regular season games. Oscar is currently the Bruins career goal scoring leader with 71 regular season goals and is 2nd in career assists and points with 80 assists and 151 points in 131 career games.
