
Molden named to AFL All-Rookie team

Chicago Rush rookie WR/LB Etu Molden was named to the AFL's All-Rookie team, the Arena Football League announced today.
Molden, one of the league's leading candidates for Rookie of the Year honors, was Chicago's leading receiver, catching 101 passes for 1,280 yards and scoring 32 touchdowns. Molden led all rookies in receptions and receiving yards, and finished the season ranked eighth in the AFL in receptions, receiving yards and scoring (198 points). Molden also contributed on defense, recording 25.5 tackles and two interceptions.
"Etu is a great all-around football player who was instrumental in our success this season," said Rush head coach Mike Hohensee. "We will count on his ability to make plays as we compete for the ArenaBowl title."

The AFL will announce its Rookie of the Year on Wednesday, June 9.
The Rush (11-5) returns to Allstate Arena to host the Orlando Predators (10-6) in an AFL quarterfinal playoff game Sunday, June 6, at 2 p.m. Fans wishing to purchase tickets to the game may order by calling Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212, or by visiting the Ticketmaster Web site at www.ticketmaster.com.
