NEW YORK - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Columbus Crew SC midfielder Hector Jimenez guilty of simulation/embellishment. Jimenez has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 68th minute of Columbus' match against D.C. United on April 24.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found San Jose Earthquakes head coach Matias Almeyda in violation of the league's policy regarding entering the field of play. This is Almeyda's second violation in 2019 and he has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions during San Jose's match against Seattle Sounders FC on April 24.
