NEW YORK, N.Y. // WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 11, 2023) - MLS All-Star Soccer Celebration Presented by Coca-Cola® Zero-Sugar will kick off All-Star week events in the nation's capital with a free festival for fans of all ages. From interactive fan zones to music, games, autographs, free giveaways, MLS watch parties and more, Soccer Celebration presented by Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar is the ultimate fan experience leading up to the MLS All-Star Game. Festivities will take place at The Wharf (760 Maine Ave. SW, Washington D.C. 20024) on Saturday, July 15 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ET, and Sunday, July 16 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET.
In partnership with MLS, Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar will host the 3rd annual Beats, Cleats and Eats experience - a must-attend event that celebrates the unique culture of soccer and the unrivaled passion of the sports' fans. The event will feature special guest appearances by MLS players, a musical performance, culinary offerings, a watch party experience for MLS matches, and the opportunity to sample Coca-Cola refreshments. Fans will have the special opportunity to sample Coca-Cola's new product - Coke Creations Ultimate.
New to this year's Beats, Cleats and Eats program is "The Stars Align" design contest - a program that highlights how art, design, and culture play a critical role in soccer. Developed in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, and Project Create, Coca-Cola hosted a 3-week creative workshop for local Club kids ages 13-18 ahead of MLS All-Star week - giving Club youth a hands-on opportunity to learn more about the design industry and further develop their own unique designs inspired by this year's MLS All-Star Game. As a founding partner of Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Life & Workforce Readiness Program, "The Stars Align" design contest introduced Club teens to a diverse set of career opportunities. The winning design will be debuted on July 15th during the Beats, Cleats and Eats experience.
Highlighting the musical portion of Beats, Cleats, and Eats will be a live performance by Masego on Saturday, July 15 at 6:30 p.m.
In addition to the Soccer Celebration presented by Coca-Cola® Zero-Sugar, other MLS partners will also activate within the space.
On Sunday, July 16 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET from The Wharf, eMLS professional players will team up with influencers from the gaming community, musicians, pro athletes, and amateur gamers for a dynamic, fun and entertaining two-versus-two-competition for the 4th annual eMLS All-Star Challenge presented by Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar.
