Milwaukee Wave News Release

The Milwaukee Wave (4-0) return to action Friday night at U.W. Milwaukee Panther Arena and face their biggest rival, the Kansas City Comets (1-1) at 7:05pm.

These two teams last played, against each other, nearly three weeks ago on Sunday, November 12th, with the Milwaukee Wave defeating their rivals, 7-4.

"You start the season 4-0 and you just want to keep that momentum going but the schedule is what it is," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "We know Kansas City has a sour taste in their mouth after handing them a loss in front of their home crowd. They've had success in our building before and we know what they are capable of but we've had a great week at practice and are ready for what the Comets will bring Friday night."

This year the Milwaukee Wave are again teaming up with amazing local Non-Profit organizations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin!

During our December 1 home game, our Non-Profit of the Game, Lindsay's Voice will be collecting supplies for Kathy's House! Kathy's House supports families who have loved ones battling illnesses.

Kathy's House is in need of the following items to help serve their families: Lysol wipes, Lysol spray, hand sanitizer and Kleenex.

In an effort to help our friends from Lindsay's Voice, the Milwaukee Wave will be offering anyone who donates items to Kathy's House a voucher to come out to any remaining 2017-18 Regular Season MKE Wave game! To redeem your voucher, drop your items off at Lindsay's Voice table in the annex behind section 208 off the main concourse!

Want to earn a free ticket to an upcoming MKE Wave game? Donate these items at our December 1st game to Kathy's House and receive a voucher to come back to any regular season home game on us!
