
Missions Rally Comes up Short

San Antonio Missions News Release
FRISCO - The Missions (13-28) bid to win consecutive games for only the third time was thwarted Saturday night in front of more than 10,000 at Dr. Pepper Ballpark.
San Antonio jumped to a 3-0 lead heading into the bottom of the third. Nick Torres had a pair of run-scoring singles.
Frisco scored three times off Bryce Morrow (0-6) in the third to tie the score and added three more runs over the next two frames.
The Missions rallied to make it a one-run game but fell to 5-15 in games decided by no more than two.
San Antonio outhit the 'Riders, 11-9, but finished the night 3-for-14 with runners in scoring position.
Gabriel Quintana singled and doubled while driving in a pair of runs to take over the team lead in RBI with 23.
NOTES: Quintana has driven in 11 runs in his last 12 games...Mike Olt extended his on-base streak to 17 games. He leads the league with a .458 on-base percentage for the month of May...Morrow is tied for the Double-A lead with six losses
