
Missions Fall To Roughriders 6-1

San Antonio Missions News Release
San Antonio - The Missions lost the second-game of their four game series to the Frisco RoughRiders Tuesday night 6-1 after a 65-minute rain delay prior to the first pitch. Frisco starter Joe Weiland and two relievers combined held San Antonio to a season -low hits as the Missions dropped to 15-9 in the second-half and 64-30 overall.
Frisco's offense powered over San Antonio pushing across five runs through seven innings off Missions starter Simon Castro who has now lost four starts in a row.
The Missions lone run came from a solo home run off the bat of Andy Parrino in the sixth inning.
Game three of the series is tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. at Wolff Stadium. Tomorrow is Military Appreciation Night presented by Dr Pepper and in honor of the military the Missions will wear camouflage jerseys.
