San Antonio Missions News Release
SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Missions announced today the right-handed pitcher Matt Buschmann has been added to the roster. He will start Thursday's game at Frisco.
Buschmann, 25, made 27 starts for San Antonio in 2008, compiling a 10-6 record and a 2.98 ERA (60 ER/148.0 IP), second in the Texas League only to Vin Mazzaro. His 118 strikeouts were third-most in the league.
This season with Triple-A Portland, Buschmann went 3-10 with a 6.18 ERA (68 ER/99.0 IP) in 19 games (18 starts).
The Missions active roster now stands at 23 players plus one Major League rehab.
