
Miracle to Honor State Champs

Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
FORT MYERS, FL (May 26, 2009) - The Fort Myers Miracle will honor the Class 4A State Baseball Champion Naples High Golden Eagles prior to Thursday's game at Hammond Stadium.
The Golden Eagles completed a dream season with a 3-2 victory over Orlando Bishop Moore on Saturday in Port St. Lucie. The school captured its first baseball state title compiling a record of 33-1, after winning the first 30 games of the season.
Miracle manager Jeff Smith is a graduate of Naples High School and still resides with his family in Naples.
Naples coach Rick Turner will throw out a ceremonial first pitch after the team is recognized by the Miracle. The pre-game festivities will begin at 6:45 p.m. with the Miracle and Tampa Yankees set to face-off at 7:05 p.m.
MEDIA NOTE: There will be access to Naples players and coaches on-field prior to ceremony. You will need a Miracle media credential to enter the field.
Tickets for all 50 remaining home dates are available for purchase at Hammond Stadium or by phone between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Fans also may purchase tickets online at www.miraclebaseball.com. The Miracle's online ticket system allows fans to select their exact seat location for each game and conveniently print tickets at home.
Ticket prices for 2009 are as follows: $7 for Box Seats ($8 on Fireworks Night), $5 for General Admission ($6 on Fireworks Night).
