Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release

FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 8, 2014) - Last summer, Craig Sager, TNT basketball analyst and sideline reporter, was feted by the Fort Myers Miracle and honored by having his image immortalized in bobblehead form.

This summer, Sager is undergoing treatment for acute leukemia and the Miracle want to join the fight by auctioning off the few remaining Craig Sager bobbleheads.

"Craig was kind enough to help out the Miracle last summer," said Miracle General Manager Andrew Seymour. "Now, we want to return the favor by raising money to fight the disease he is battling.

"We found eight of the Sager bobbleheads, two of them autographed and we are going to sell all of them on Ebay. 100 percent of the money we raise will go to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society."

Bids will begin at $55 for the autographed bobbleheads and $35 for the non-autographed model.

"We feel like Craig and his family are part of our Miracle family," said John Kuhn, who helped organized Sager 's appearance at Hammond Stadium. "We wish them all the best and can't wait to see Craig back on the air soon!"

Bidding is currently open for the Craig Sager bobbleheads. For more information, visit www.miraclebaseball.com or call the Miracle offices at (239) 768-4210.
