Miracle Host Breast Cancer Awareness Night

FORT MYERS, FL (July 25, 2011) Enjoy a special night at the ballpark when the Fort Myers Miracle host their 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by 21st Century Oncology and Associates in General & Vascular Surgery on Saturday, July 30 at Hammond Stadium. The Miracle take on the Lakeland Flying Tigers beginning at 7:05 p.m. with a fireworks show to follow the game. The first 500 women entering Hammond Stadium Saturday night will receive a special pink tote bag.

The entire Miracle team will wear pink jerseys which will be auctioned off to commemorate the game, with all of the proceeds benefiting Partners for Breast Cancer Care. The auction will take place on the concourse and end with the conclusion of the 6th inning. Winning bidders will be invited on the field to receive their jersey from the respective player.

A silent auction will take place on the concourse throughout the game with some of the highlights being: A Key West Express Round Trip, 3 day/2 night stay at Pink Shell Hotel with 2 person massage and Vera Bradley collection courtesy of Pink Pineapple.

In addition to the game, a special survivor walk will take place beginning at 6:15 around the playing field. Local star and Nashville Recording Artist Krystal Walters will perform special music including her hit single "Give" which is dedicated to survivors. Fans who are survivors are invited to take part in this uplifting event.

Tickets are available at the Fort Myers Miracle 3rd floor Hammond Stadium ticket office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.miraclebaseball.com, with the Miracle's online ticket system allowing fans the ability to select their exact seat location for each game and print tickets at home.
