Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
TAMPA, Fla. - Heavy rain and unplayable field conditions forced the final game of the first half between the Fort Myers Miracle and the Tampa Tarpons to be cancelled on Thursday night at George M. Steinbrenner Field.
The First Half South Division Champion Miracle finish the first half at 39-27. The Miracle posted the second best road mark of any club in the Florida State League, finishing 22-12 away from Hammond Stadium.
Fort Myers opens the second half on Monday night at Hammond Stadium against the Charlotte Stone Crabs, the Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
