Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
VERO BEACH, FL (May 25, 2005) â The Fort Myers Miracle and Vero Beach Dodgers were postponed due to rain on Wednesday night at Holman Stadium. The two teams will make up the game as part of a double header on Thursday beginning at 5:00 p.m. Both games will be scheduled for seven innings and game two will follow approximately 25 minutes at the conclusion of game one. The Miracle will send RHP Nick Blackburn (4-2, 3.26) to the hill in game one and LHp Glen Perkins (1-1, 2.89) in game two. The Dodgers will send RHP Justin Orenduff (3-1, 2.41) to the hill in game one and RHP Julio Cesar Pimentel (3-2, 4.40) in game two.
