MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., (Tuesday, May 5, 2015) -- Minnesota United is excited to announce Massage Retreat & Spa as its official massage partner. Massage Retreat & Spa's services will help United players improve recovery time after matches and help prevent injuries to players.

"We are honored to be selected as a partner to provide weekly deep tissue therapy for Minnesota United players," said Massage Retreat President/CEO Lee Oberg. "With the highly physical nature of professional soccer, a commitment to an overall conditioning regime, including massage, is essential in producing maximum flexibility, durability, stamina and pain relief among these world-class athletes."

Massage Retreat & Spa will be providing massage and recovery services for players every week, ensuring they are ready for every match.

"It's imperative for our players to get the treatment they need to fully recover after games and training sessions," said United President Nick Rogers. "We are happy to partner with a great organization like Massage Retreat & Spa to provide our players with the highest quality massage therapists to help them be at their best to be successful on the field."

"Having Massage Retreat & Spa massage therapists gives us the edge we need to shorten the recovery time between games," said United midfielder Jamie Watson. "In professional sports, recovery is vital and the extremely talented therapists at Massage Retreat are there week in and week out helping us get back to 100%!"
