
Minnesota Swarm's Eric Pacey and Jon Sullivan Selected In NLL Expansion Draft

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Minnesota Swarm general manager Marty O'Neill announced today that defenseman Eric Pacey and Jon Sullivan were selected by New York in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) Expansion Draft.
The Chicago Shamrox and the to-be-named New York team began building their rosters today for the 2007 season as each team selected 11 players from the league's current teams in the NLL Expansion Draft. The Swarm lost a pair of defenseman in the Expansion Draft as Jon Sullivan was taken by New York with the eighth overall pick and Eric Pacey was taken by New York with the 20th overall pick.
Sullivan, 24 (6/30/82), recorded seven points (2-5=7) and 61 loose balls and was one of four Swarm players to appear in all 16 games last season. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound native St. Catharines, Ontario has tallied 13 points (4-9=13) and 83 loose balls in two seasons with Minnesota.
Pacey, 28 (5/3/78), notched five points (2-3=5) and 45 loose balls in 13 games with the Swarm last season. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound native of Toronto, Ontario has collected 33 points (14-19=33) in 51 career NLL games during five seasons with Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Minnesota.
