2006 National Lacrosse League Expansion Draft Results

The Chicago Shamrox and the to-be-named New York team began building their rosters today in the 2006 Expansion Draft. Chicago used the first overall selection on San Jose goaltender Brandon Miller, while New York selected forward Pat Maddalena from Arizona. In the second round, the Shamrox picked up veteran defenseman Darryl Gibson from Toronto, and New York added Calgary goaltender Curtis Palidwor. Three of the first six players selected were goaltenders.
