Miners to Hold Free Youth Clinics

Marion, Ill. - The Southern Illinois Miners announce that they will be holding three FREE youth clinics at Rent One Park on Saturday, June 4th, Saturday, June 25th and Saturday, July 23rd.
The clinics will feature some of your favorite Miners players, and will run on all three dates from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. There is no need to sign up- just come to the ballpark and have fun while leading valuable baseball tips and skills straight from the Miners themselves! Don't miss out on these exclusive opportunities this summer.

Southern Illinois returns home for a three-game series with the Lake Erie Crushers beginning tonight at 7:05 p.m. Jarett Miller will start for the Miners against former Southern Illinois righty Steve Hagen.
The Southern Illinois Miners are the back-to-back Frontier League East Division Champions and the 2012 Frontier League Champions. They have been awarded the Frontier League Organization of the Year award three times since their inception, and also set a new Frontier League attendance record in 2007, their inaugural season.
