
Milwaukee's Greg Howes named MISL Offensive Player of the Month

GOALKEEPER OF THE MONTH
Jim Larkin, Cleveland Force
Larkin posted a record of 5-2 in seven games during March, including one shutout. He stopped 131 of 158 shots for .829 save percentage. He recorded his first career shutout, as well as posting a career-high and MISL single-game season-high 31 saves on March 14. He scored his first career goal on March 6 and added two assists for a total of three points in March.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Genoni Martinez, Monterrey Fury
Martinez garners his second monthly honor this season following an excellent month at both ends of the floor. The 5'9" defender turned in a 12-goal, five-assist performance for 17 points in Monterrey's nine March games. He was also credited with 33 blocks and tallied three game-winners for the Fury. Martinez also earned Player of the Month honors for the month of November.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Greg Howes, Milwaukee Wave
In earning his third monthly accolade this season and second straight honor, Howes helped Milwaukee close out the 2004 MISL Regular Season Title with a 6-2 mark in March. In the Wave's eight games, Howes tallied 13 goals and 4 assists for 17 points, including three power play goals and three game-winning goals. Howes was selected as Player of the Month for the months of December and February.
