
Force Goalkeeper Earns MISL Monthly Honor

CLEVELAND, OHIO- Cleveland Force goalkeeper Jim Larkin has been named the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Goalkeeper of the Month for March.
The 27-year old native of Toronto, Canada posted a record of 5-2 in seven games during March, including one shutout. Larkin stopped 131 of 158 shots for .829 save percentage. Jim recorded his first career shutout, as well as posting a career-high and MISL single-game season-high 31 saves on March 14. He scored his first career goal on March 6 and added two assists for a total of three points in March.
Larkin was selected as the MISL Goalkeeper of the Week on four occasions during the season. Jim was also selected to his fourth All-Star Game this season and was the starter for the MISL International squad. In addition, Larkin was tabbed as the Force Tops Sensational Player of the Game on four occasions.
Jim joins defender/forward Hector Marinaro as the two Force players to earn the MISL Monthly Honor. Marinaro was the MISL Defender of the Month for October.
