Miller Recalled from Georgetown

Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Dubas announced on Wednesday that the club has recalled DAVID MILLER from the Georgetown Raiders of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL).

Originally selected by the Hounds in the 6th Round of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection, Miller will join the Hounds in the absence of Jared McCann to the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge with Team Ontario.

In 35 games, Miller has 15 goals and 22 assists good for 37 points with the Raiders. Along with 5 powerplay goals the 5'10" centreman has four three-point nights highlighting his season so far while sitting 5th in Georgetown scoring.

The Burlington, ON product recently inked an Ontario Hockey League Standard Player Agreement with the Hounds just under three weeks ago.

Miller is expected to make his OHL debut this coming Saturday, December 28th when the Hounds get back on the ice against the Niagara IceDogs.
