Halifax, (NS) - The Halifax Hurricanes Basketball Club were in action again on February 28th at the Harbour Station against the Saint John Mill Rats. The Hurricanes fell 91-98 to the Mill Rats. The Hurricanes now have a record of 14-6 and with this win, the Mill Rats have a record of 14-6 and both teams are tied for first in the Atlantic Division.

Hurricanes and the Mill Rats were tied after the first quarter 22-22, and at halftime the Hurricanes led the Mill Rats 46-42. The Hurricanes were outscored by the Mill Rats 16-36 in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Hurricanes outscored the Mill Rats 33-29, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory over the Mill Rats.

Forward, Anthony Criswell led the Hurricanes with 24 points and 8 rebounds. Guard, Shane Gibson scored 17 points. Guard, Joseph Bertrand scored 12 points. Guard, Joel Friesen scored 11 points for the Hurricanes.

Guard, Doug Herring Jr led the all scorers with 26 points 15 assists and 9 rebounds. Forward, Gabe Freeman scored 19 points. Forward, Jean-Richard Volcy scored 12 points. Guard, Anthony Anderson scored 12 points. Guard, Chris Smith scored 10 points.

The Hurricanes will face the Island Storm Friday March 4th at the Eastlink Centre.
