
Rob Spon Named NBLC Coach of the Month
February 28, 2016 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada) News Release
The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Rob Spon of the Saint John Mill Rats has been named Coach of the Month for February 2016. This is the second time Coach Spon has received this honour; he previously was awarded Coach of the Month in January 2014.
Spon guided the Mill Rats to a successful 6-1 record, bringing the team to a tie with the Halifax Hurricanes atop the NBL's Atlantic Division.
Spon currently has 75 career NBL Canada regular season wins, fourth-best all-time among all NBL Canada head coaches.
