Creatures of habit such as baseball men are, the Lynchburg Hillcats will have to change a thing or two come 2017.
For example, they'll be staying in unfamiliar hotels - those in Kinston, North Carolina and in another southeastern city yet-to-be-determined.
Minor League Baseball announced Monday that the Carolina League will be expanding to 10 teams next season after two franchises were reassigned to the circuit from the Advanced-A California League. One of those teams will return to Kinston, a longtime Carolina League host, while the other will likely eventually land in Fayetteville, North Carolina but may find a temporary home in another town.
