Mike Lomas named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack has named Mike Lomas the Becker Shoes Attacker of the week for the week ending Monday, December 08, 2008.
The hot streak started for Lomas on Wednesday night as he helped capture a 5-2 win over the Barrie Colts. Lomas lead the way with a hat trick and was named first star in the win against the Colts.
The Attack headed north to Sudbury Friday night and had a hard fought battle resulting in the Attack losing in a shoot out. Lomas pounded his 14th of the season against the Wolves, one of four power play goals scored this week.
The Knights came to Owen Sound for one of the most eventful games of the season. Lomas would again rise to the occasion and scored twice in the 6-5 lost to the Knights. For the second time in one week, Lomas was named first star of the game.
After three games this week, Lomas ended with 6 goals and a +3 rating.
The Attack is back in action this Saturday when A&P hosts the Guelph Storm, game time 7:30.
