The 71-year-old Dylan is known as a folk rock-singer whose career began in the early 1960s with songs that chronicled social issues. The 1963 release of his second album The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan marked Dylan's emergence as one of the most original and poetic voices in the history of American popular music. The album included two of the most memorable folk songs on the 1960s with, "Blowin In The Wind" and "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall." His next album, The Times They Are A-Changin', firmly established Dylan as the definitive songwriter of the 60s protest movement.

Dylan was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and In 1997, Dylan became the first rock star ever to receive Kennedy Center Honors, considered the nation's highest award for artistic excellence.

Wilco is an American alternative rock band based in Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 1994 by the remaining members of alternative country group Uncle Tupelo following singer Jay Farrar's departure. The band's great leap forward came with 2002's Yankee Foxtrot Hotel, a gorgeous and haunting album full of keyboard drones and other arty, well-deployed atmospherics.

Kentucky's My Morning Jacket parlayed big ambitions and a thirst for experimentation into a sound that caught on with critics, suburban dads, and hippies alike in the 2000s. They are fronted by Jim James and their first two notable albums were At Dawn (2001) and It Still Moves (2003). The big break came in 2005 with Z as it finished 31st on the Rolling Stone's list of Best Albums of 2000s. That set the stage for the group's most eclectic release, 2008's Evil Urges. Their most recent album is Circuital and James just released his firm solo album.
