Midfielder Flavio Guzman Re-Signs with Sidekicks for 3 Years

Allen, Texas - The Dallas Sidekicks have announced midfielder, Flavio Guzman, has re-signed with the Dallas Sidekicks until 2026. Last season marked Guzman's first season with the Sidekicks. Per team and league guidelines, the additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Guzman appeared in 14 games during the 2022-23 season, four of which had multiple goal efforts. His most notable game was on the December 18 home game against the Empire Strykers where he scored two goals and had two assists. Despite being injured for some of January and February, Guzman had a great rookie season by scoring 12 goals and having 7 assists.
Now that Guzman has had his first season under his belt, he hopes to perform at the highest level every game and contribute to the team by scoring more goals and having more assists. To prepare for the season, Guzman has been doing a lot of stretching and weightlifting.
"I'm excited to get back on the field with the team and play in front of the fans and kids. I want the fans to have a good time at our games and that means scoring more goals and creating more chances. This season, I'm holding a higher standard for myself and the team at trainings and games and I hope that translates on the field," commented Guzman.
