Middup headed to Olympiques

Niagara IceDogs General Manager Dave Brown announced today that IceDogs forward Thomas Middup has cleared waivers and been signed by the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL.

Middup was acquired prior to the 2008-09 season in a trade with the Kingston Frontenacs. During his season with the IceDogs, Middup played in 56 regular season games, collecting 9 goals and 8 assists, and 10 playoff games where he collected one assist.

"We would like to thank Thomas for his contributions to the IceDogs during the 2008-09 season" said Brown "We wish him the best of luck in the future."
