April 3, 2018 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
FC Tulsa News Release
The Tulsa Roughnecks FC will play its first mid-week match of the season at ONEOK Field this Wednesday, April 4, when it hosts the Portland Timbers 2. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in downtown Tulsa, and it will be the first Bark in the Park & Buck Night of the season compliments of City of Tulsa: Save our Streams, City Vet Hospital, FOX23 and Mix 96.
The Roughnecks also want to show their appreciation to the hard-working school teachers and students in our area. Every teacher and student from K-12 grades who show their school IDs at the ticket windows will receive free admission to the match.
Fans will be encouraged to bring their furry companions to accompany them to the match. Dogs will be allowed to accompany their owners in the Lawn or Busch Terrace sections.
Also, it is the first Buck Night of the season with hot dogs, soft drinks and Budweiser or Bud Light on sale for just $1 each.
Elgin Park will be the place for fans to go before and after the match. They can enjoy both a pint of Elgin Park beer and a ballpark-sized slice of pizza for only $8.
Wednesday's match will be the last of three straight matches at ONEOK Field for the Roughnecks. After starting the year with a pair of one-goal defeats, the Roughnecks were defeated 5-0 against Orange County SC last Saturday in Tulsa.
Portland has gone 1-2-0 and has 3 points in its first three matches on the year. The Timbers 2 are coming to Tulsa after a 4-2 defeat last Saturday to the Real Monarchs.
Last season TRFC defeated Portland 3-1 at ONEOK Field, and played to a 1-1 draw in Oregon. The Roughnecks are 1-3-1 all-time against the Timbers 2.
Tickets for Wednesday's match, and all other 2018 games at ONEOK Field are currently available online, or over the telephone at (918) 744-9501 or in person at the stadium ticket office.
