February 18, 2010 - Midwest League (MWL1)
West Michigan Whitecaps News Release

COMSTOCK PARK, MI - Fifth Third Ballpark and WYCE 88.1 FM are pleased to announce an exciting addition to the Pepsi Stadium Club Concert Series, a very special show by Mid-Life Crisis. They join a series of intimate shows by national and regional artists playing at Fifth Third Ballpark over the next few months: John Wesley Harding, Yancyy, Richard Shindell, Cheryl Wheeler, Paul Thorn and Lucy Kaplansky.

Mid-Life Crisis will take the stage in the Pepsi Stadium Club on Friday, April 16 (7:30 p.m.; tickets $6). This special concert and party will be a great chance for a relaxed night of fun with this popular West Michigan band, with an unofficial Post-Tax Day theme. MLC will perform up-close and personal, and will feature songs from their albums "It's All Good" and "It's Always Something," along with several classic rock favorites. MLC has been entertaining West Michigan for 9 years, and is looking forward to a casual night of fun and music. This award-winning band grew up with music from the 60's and 70's, and has shared the stage with many national headliners like Kansas, Eddie Money, America, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Edgar Winter, Dave Mason, The Tubes, Dennis DeYoung, Marshall Tucker, Pure Prairie League, and many others. In addition to their two full-length albums, MLC is proud to have recorded a number of compilation albums with local artists, including the popular Standing Together Project formed by local producer Michael Crittenden and Phil Biggs.

The Pepsi Stadium Club at Fifth Third Ballpark, home of the West Michigan Whitecaps, has become a multi-use facility that has hosted events ranging from holiday parties, business luncheons and weddings, in addition to its primary role as an exclusive group outing venue for Whitecaps baseball games. The first concert in the Pepsi Stadium Club was last November, when Spencer Mulder and Troll for Trout played to an intimate sold-out crowd.

In addition to the continuing series of concerts in the Pepsi Stadium Club in 2010, look for more large outdoor concerts on the diamond, following in the footsteps of last year's Kansas, Chickenfoot and Flo Rida/Sean Kingston/Justin Bieber concerts, as the Whitecaps continue to brand Fifth Third Ballpark as a multi-use facility.

Tickets are on sale now at www.whitecapsbaseball.com. Seating is very limited at all shows. Doors open one hour before concert start time and parking will be free.
