
Michaela Onyenwere Medical Update

New York Liberty News Release
NEW YORK - New York Liberty forward Michaela Onyenwere underwent a successful left knee arthroscopy with partial lateral meniscectomy today at Hospital for Special Surgery.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Gabriella Ode and Dr. Riley Williams, the Liberty's orthopedic surgeons at Hospital for Special Surgery. She will begin rehabilitation immediately with the team's performance staff for the next several weeks and will later join Beşiktaş J.K. in Istanbul, Turkey where she will finish her return to play program and compete in the KBSL.
Further updates will be provided as appropriate. Out of respect of her privacy, Michaela will not be taking media interviews at this time.
