Miami Mayor Manny Diaz and Morays to honor youth football champions

Miami, FL – The Miami Morays professional football team is pleased to announce a press conference with City of Miami Mayor Manny Diaz this Thursday, March 3rd at 3:30 PM at Miami City Hall.

Welcoming the Morays to town and helping to kick off their season, Mayor Diaz will publicly announce his support of the Morays by helping kick off their season which begins on March 19th in New Jersey against the Xtreme.

"Miamians love their football, and with the Morays in town they can enjoy the sport all year long." Mayor Diaz said. "Led by two local sports heroes like Oronde Gadsden and Larry Little, I know we can expect the Morays to be the next champions to call Miami home."

In addition to the Morays being welcomed to Miami, two youth football teams from Overtown and the West Grove will be honored by Mayor Diaz & City Commissioner Johnny Winton for their season's accomplishments. Both teams played in the youth football national championships this past season.

Using this occasion, the Morays will also be announcing their newest program to support youth football in Dade County by unveiling the "Youth Football Pass". The pass will allow all children enrolled in youth football programs such as Pop Warner or Optimist programs to receive a free Morays season ticket or game night ticket with the purchase of an adult season or game night ticket.

In addition to Mayor Diaz and Commissioner Winton, Morays owner Oronde Gadsden and several Moray players will be in attendance for the event.
