Game Notes: The Kingsport Mets dismantled the Johnson City Cardinals in front of a home opening crowd of 1,503 on Tuesday night. Jonathan Castillo pitched 5 shut-out innings to record the win while Nick Evans, Joan Martinez, and Kyle Brown led the offensive attack with 3 hits each. Sean Henry, Juan Montero, and Anthony Manual added 2 hits apiece and Elvis Cruz hit the team's first home run of the season. The two teams will meet again on Wednesday night as the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce will be having an after hours following the game.
