Mississauga MetroStars News Release

?The Mississauga MetroStars will conclude a three-game homestand at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre Friday against Eastern Division leaders Utica City FC and then head south of the border to Harrisburg to face the Heat Sunday at the PA Farm Show Arena to complete a double game divisional weekend in Week 13 of the MASL season.

? ?The MetroStars (3-11) snapped an eight-game losing streak last Sunday with a thrilling 6-5 victory over the Heat at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre. Team scoring leader Mo Babouli led the way for Mississauga with a four-point afternoon on the strength of a goal and three assists while Matthew Rios added a pair of goals. Both players were selected as substitutes on the MASL Team of the Week.

? ?Utica (11-4) was idle last weekend as their last game was a 13-5 defeat of the MetroStars at the Adirondack Bank Center back on February 10. Prior to their matchup with the MetroStars on Sunday, Harrisburg (3-9) will host the Milwaukee Wave on Saturday night.

? ?Mississauga has lost both meetings with Utica this season, dropping a 5-4 decision at home back on January 11 prior to the 13-5 loss in Utica two weeks ago. However, the MetroStars have beaten the Heat twice this season, both times at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre, including a 7-6 victory recorded on December 30.

? ?MetroStars forward and co-captain Dwayne De Rosario is expected back for both games this weekend after sitting out the past month with injuries.

? ?The MetroStars face Utica City FC at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre Fri. Feb. 22 with kickoff set for 7:35pm (ET). The MetroStars then travel to Harrisburg to meet the Heat at the PA Farm Show Arena Sun. Feb. 24 at 5:05pm (ET). Both matches will be streamed live on MASLsoccer.com
