
Meredith, Adekoya Enter 2017 Standard Loan Agreements

SEATTLE, WASH. - Ahead of S2's season-opening contest against Sacramento Republic FC on Sunday afternoon, MLS has entered into 2017 Standard USL Loan Agreements for goalkeeper Bryan Meredith and forward Seyi Adekoya. These agreements contain a right of recall for MLS, which enables each player to play for a USL club and a MLS club throughout the duration of the loan period (through the end of 2017), subject to MLS roster comp-liance guidelines.
On Sunday afternoon, Sounders FC 2 hosts Sacramento Republic FC at 2:00 p.m. PT in the first contest of the 2017 campaign at Starfire Stadium. The meeting marks the third-consecutive year that S2 opens league play against Sacramento. Seattle is 1-1-0 all-time in season-opening matches against Republic FC.
S2 is in its third USL season under Head Coach Ezra Hendrickson.
