
Mercury Signs Guard Destanni Henderson to a 7-Day Contract

PHOENIX - The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury have signed guard Destanni Henderson to a 7-day contract, the team announced today.
Henderson was selected 20th overall in the 2022 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever. Appearing in 36 games for the Fever in 2022 and 10 games for the Los Angeles Sparks this season, Henderson owns career averages of 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
Henderson played four years collegiately at South Carolina (2018-22), leading the Gamecocks to a national championship in 2022 when she scored 26 points in the title game against UConn.
