Memphis Outlasts Wisconsin at Showcase

LAS VEGAS - The Memphis Hustle (12-7) defeated the Wisconsin Herd (3-14), 124-113, on Day Two of the 2018 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase.
Two-way player Yuta Watanabe finished with 24 points, seven rebounds and three assists while reserve Dusty Hannahs had 26 points and four rebounds as the Hustle improved to 12-7 on the season. Guard Tyler Harvey added 24 points and eight assists for Memphis, who won both of their Showcase games.
In a game that saw seven ties and five lead changes, Memphis scored 34 points in the third quarter to pull away for good. Memphis also tallied 17 three-pointers on 41.5-percent shooting to secure the victory.
For Wisconsin, Christian Wood recorded a double-double with a game-high 35 points and 18 rebounds and forward Donte DiVincenzo netted 21 points in the loss. The Herd fell to 3-14 with the loss.
Memphis visits the South Bay Lakers on Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. PT for its next game. Wisconsin will play their final game of the Showcase as they face off against the Stockton Kings on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. PT. Both games can be seen on ESPN+.
