ATLANTA, Ga. - Memphis 901 FC clinched their spot in the USL Championship playoffs with a 4-0 victory over Atlanta United 2 on Wednesday night at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

A hat trick from Phillip Goodrum led Memphis to their 17th victory of the season and sealed their second consecutive playoff appearance.

Memphis controlled the pace of the first half and jumped ahead with a 36th minute goal from Goodrum, who finished a ball bouncing around the box with a header to open Handwalla Bwana found the back of the net for his first in a 901 FC jersey in the 64th minute to put the match away.

Memphis is now unbeaten in the last 26 matches after leading at halftime.

Memphis 901 FC returns to AutoZone Park for a Friday night fight with Charleston Battery on September 16 at 7 p.m. CT.
