"Meet the Team" Night 2012

Beloit, WI- The Beloit Snappers are proud to announce their annual "Meet the Snappers" Night on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. The annual team meet and greet will take place once again at Beloit Memorial High School (1225 Fourth Street in Beloit). Doors will open to the general public at 6:30 pm. Tickets will go on sale March 19 at 9am.

Tickets for the event are $5, with ages 4 and under free. Tickets can be purchased through the Snappers via phone at (608) 362-2272 or in person at Pohlman Field (2301 Skyline Dr. Beloit, WI). The menu for the night includes traditional ballpark food. In addition, to dinner, guests will be able to meet the 2012 Snappers and have the ability to purchase new merchandise. Players, coaches, and front office staff will be on hand to sign autographs and answer questions. Snappy D. Turtle will also be in attendance to mingle with the crowd.

During the evening a silent auction of assorted baseball memorabilia will also be set up for fans to bid on. Season ticket holders can ask for their discount for the event. If you are not a season ticket holder, but would like to be, please contact a Snappers representative at Pohlman Field for more information.

The Beloit Snappers are a member of the Midwest League, and a Class A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Opening Day at Pohlman Field is Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 6:30 pm when the Snappers face the Peoria Chiefs, Class A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. It will be magnet schedule giveaway night, courtesy of Beloit Health System, TruGreen, and Minuteman Press. It is also a guaranteed rainout opening series! Rain or shine, the Snappers home opener ticket is good for another game in April!
