Burlington, IA - The Burlington Bees proudly announce a slew of promotions that will

enhance the way fans take in a ballgame at Community Field in 2012.

On Monday, April 9 the Bees keep with tradition by starting the season with a free magnet schedule giveaway sponsored by Mazzio's Italian Eatery. Later in the month, the Bees honor the children in the community with the Reading Club and D. A. R. E. Day on Tuesday, April 24.

May offers fans a chance to take home more than just a foul ball. Bees fans should come out to Community Field Sunday, May 20 for a chance to win $10,000 cash and other items on this year's Community Basket Day. Five promotions headline the month of May, with Armed Forces Night on Saturday, May 19 and Buzz's

Bees baseball and fireworks always highlight a summer in Burlington and the Bees kickoff one of five fireworks displays on Saturday, June 9. Two fireworks displays sandwich the month July with one appearing on Tuesday, July 3 and the other on

Saturday, July 28. Fans will enjoy Jimmy Buffet Night on Friday, July 27 and define friend from foe on Cubs vs. Cardinals Rivalry Night on July 28.

Fireworks light up the sky in the first home stand of August. Displays are scheduled on Iowa National Guard Night Saturday, August 4, and Greater Burlington Partnership and Boy & Girl Scout Night, Friday, August 10. Once again, fans can show their allegiance towards the University of Iowa or Iowa State on Friday, August 24.
