PROVO, Utah, Nov. 17, 2008 - The Utah Flash are hosting their annual Meet the Team Party at APX Alarm Headquarters in Provo, Utah tonight, Wednesday Nov. 17 beginning at 6 p.m. MT.
Flash ticket holders and fans are invited to share food and fun with Flash players, the DownEast Dance Team and Flash coaching staff. The evening affords Flash fans an opportunity to get to know the players up close and personal before the season opens on Nov. 20 on the road against the Reno Bighorns.
Flash fans will have an opportunity to rekindle old friendships with Flash veterans while getting to meet the new additions to the team. Joining Coach Young will be his assistants Gene Cross and Norm de Silva. The players, coaches, and DownEast Dance Team will all be available for photos and autographs throughout the evening.
APX Alarm Headquarters will be the official practice facility of the Utah Flash throughout the season. The Flash conduct all their workouts and game preparations including film sessions at the practice facility.
The Flash home opener is slated for 7 p.m. MT on Dec. 3 against West Division rival and former Flash head coach Brad Jones' new team, the Austin Toros.
