BayHawks Waive Three to Set Roster

November 17, 2010 - NBA G League (G League) - Erie BayHawks News Release

Erie, Pennsylvania, Wednesday, November 17 - The Erie BayHawks set their 10-man roster today in preparation for the start of the season by waiving three players: Maureece Rice, David Gomez and Charlie Parker.

Rice is being released due to injury, giving the BayHawks the first right of refusal to sign him upon getting a clean bill of health.

The BayHawks opening night roster currently stands at 11 players, 10 permanent roster spots and one NBA player on assignment (Solomon Alabi from the Toronto Raptors). NBA D-League teams are permitted to carry only 10 players with D-League contracts, however, are allowed to expand rosters to a maximum of 12 active players to allow for NBA assignments.
