Meet and Greet the Ducks May 3rd

(Central Islip, N.Y., Apr. 27, 2009) - The Long Island Ducks will hold a Meet and Greet event on Sunday, May 3, to cap off 2009's opening weekend. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Islip MacArthur Airport in Holtsville, the official host hotel of the Long Island Ducks.
"Our Meet and Greet event is always a lot of fun for everyone involved," says Ducks general manager Michael Pfaff. "It's an opportunity for fans to get to know this year's club. It's the kind of accessibility that make the Ducks Long Island's hometown team."
The event is open to all fans. The Holiday Inn will offer snacks and a cash bar, and the hotel restaurant will be open. Ducks players, coaches and staff will be in attendance to meet and mingle with fans.
The Meet and Greet will take place following the Ducks game on Sunday, May 3, scheduled for a 1:35 p.m. start time. For tickets, call (631) 940-TIXX, log onto www.liducks.com and click on the tickets icon, or visit the Citibank Park ticket office during regular business hours.
