Meet And Greet The 2010 Pensacola Pelicans

The 2010 Pensacola Pelicans squad will be on hand to meet and visit with season ticket holders, sponsors, and fans on Wednesday, May 12. The event will take place at Seville Quarter, located at 130 E. Government Street, from 5-7 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to stop by Rosie O'Grady's at Seville Quarter to send the team off for the kick off to the season. For the first time since joining the American Association in 2006, the Pelicans will open the season on the road.

The Pelicans begin the season on Friday, May 14 against the Grand Prairie Air Hogs. After the three game series in Texas, the Pelicans will travel to Louisiana to take on the Shreveport-Bossier Captains for a four game series, including a double-header on May 18.

Welcome back the 2009 defending South Division Champions at Pelican Park at the Pelicans home opener versus the Grand Prairie Air Hogs on Friday, May 21 at 6:45 p.m. All fans in attendance will receive a Pelicans 2010 magnet schedule.

On Saturday, May 22 there will be a post-game fireworks show sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union. The Pelicans continue the first home stand with Kids Club Sunday, Mutt Monday, Two-for Tuesday, Win on Wednesday, and Thirsty Thursday. The Pelicans provide family fun and entertainment at an affordable price. General admission tickets are only $8. Military, students, and senior citizens receive $1 off a general admission ticket.
