Mechanics Final Home Game And Jersey Auction April 6

Fraser, MI – Motor City Mechanics play their final home game of their inaugural season on Wednesday, April 6th at 7:30pm. The Muskegon Fury, the only team the Mechanics have not defeated this season, will be in town.

The Mechanics home white jerseys will be auctioned off following the game! Every jersey will be up for auction, including Chris Chelios, Derian Hatcher, Captain Blair Manning and The first 2,000 fans will receive Mechanics pucks courtesy of Children's Leukemia Foundation and WCSX! Karen Newman will perform the National Anthem!

Riding an 8-0-0 streak over the past two weeks, the Mechanics are the hottest team in hockey. Averaging 55 shots on net over their last four games, Motor City is 14-2 in their last 16 contests. Assistant captain Joe Burton is one goal shy of a career milestone, 600 goals.

TONIGHT, Tuesday April 5th, several Mechanics will be at the Mongolian BBQ in Dearborn! The Garden City High School March Band Booster Club is holding a fundraiser. Garden City HS alum Joe Burton, along with fellow Mechanics Matt Hunter, Jason Reimers, Jeff Doyle and Mike Burgoyne will be "guest grillers", meeting fans and signing autographs from 5:30-8:00pm.
