
McLain returns to Talons

Tulsa Talons News Release
The Tulsa Talons, of the af2, have officially been assigned C.J. McLain. McLain (6-4, 250 lbs) returns to the Talons for his 9th season of arena ball. McLain was a big asset to the Talons 2007 Championship team. As a FB/LB, he recorded 27.5 total tackles (26 solo), 9 sacks and 13 quarterback hurries, helping lead the team to a 14-2 overall; 4-0 postseason record.
"We're very excited about C.J.'s return next year. He was a huge part of our defensive success in 2007 and we look for much of the same from him in 2008," said Head Coach Mitch Allner.
McLain joined the Talons is 2006 after finishing off a successful season with the Arkansas Twisters, where he became the only Twisters player to earn All-af2 honors. Before starting his pro-career in arena ball, he lettered three years playing football for the Arkansas Razorbacks and became a leading tackler with 50.
